What we check on your roof
Three things decide the price, so we look at all three.
The shingles
Bare spots where the granules wore off, curling, cracks, missing tabs, and how many layers are up there already.
Flashing and boots
Chimney, wall and valley flashing, and the rubber boots around vent pipes, where most leaks start.
The deck and the attic
Soft spots underfoot mean rotten boards. An attic that can't breathe bakes shingles in July and builds ice dams in January.
Where we put on roofs
